Iranian director to join jury at French filmfest

Iranian director Kianoush Abedi has been selected to join the jury panel at the 2nd edition of the Les Film de la Toile Festival in France.

The Les Film de la Toile Festival 2018 recently invited the Iranian director and animator to serve as a jury member.

The films taking part at the French festival will compete to win the awards for the best film, the best original film and the best comedy.

The 2nd edition of the Les Film de la Toile Festival, celebrated by students in Paris, France, is slated for November 1-4, 2018, at the University of Paris.

This student film festival is an international cinematic event that screens short movies directed by students.

Some 50 short films were selected for competition section at the 1st edition of the festival in 2017.
